Great one. I wasn’t too keen on seeing this in theaters even not having read the novel—thanks for validating that.
And something else I hope won’t become a trend: lousy sequels with Firefly and Community cast members in minor roles.
What surprised me about this review is that, at least with what you presented, I was expecting you to say that it was better than the original. It certainly looked more interesting; the first one’s issue for me wasn’t the mythology fails or the plotholes, it was the big clouds of NOTHING.
