Believe it or not in the original book (The Hundred and One Dalmatians) the hair thing is even weirder. You know that thing in fiction (that apparently does some basis in real-life) where some undergoes some trauma or shock that turns their hair white. Well at the end of the book the black half of Cruella’s hair goes white from the shock of financial ruin, whilst the half that’s already white turns green.
Also a minor thing buy you’ve been getting Cruella’s birthname wrong in the video; it’s Estella you’ve been saying Estrella.
The reason the film is set in the 1970’s despite the animated film being set in the 1960’s, is because it was originally meant to be a prequel to the 1996 live-action 101 Dalmatians movie and it’s 2000 sequel 102 Dalmatians, at some point this aspect was changed so it’s now in its own separate continuity with the setting and Cruella being a fashion designer being the only holdovers from the initial concept.
In regards to the Pongo and Perdita thing in the stinger, it’s possible the film’s going with how the original book went where Pongo’s mate was a separate character from Perdita named Missus whilst Perdita’s mate was named Prince, although it should be noted that apparently in-real life something like 90% of purebred Dalmatians are the result of inbreeding (animal life is lot weirder than fiction would have you believe).
